I really want this. I've been trying to upgrade my knitting skills. This year for Christmas presents I finally took the plunge and knitted something other than a scarf. I knitted my first hat which was pretty cool, quick to do and cute. It really didn't involve much more skill than my scarves, but I did learn to sew up something I knitted and I had to knit (as opposed to purl) much more than I normally do. I like purling better so I will do that for an entire project if possible. I taught myself how to knit off of the internet, but I usually knit at home where I'm computerless so a book is just what I need.
